The country I would like to learn more about is Italy. I chose Italy because it always has old stone buildings with spectacular views and tourists always travel around the world just to come see them. If not Italy, I would've chose France, because it also has its own secneries.

Italy has a Saint Stephen's Day, kind of like our own Saint Patrick's Day. Republic Day is when Italy commmemorates the irth of Italian Republic. May 1, the day of the worker and labor Day, is another Italian national holiday with more festivals, parades, and special events. Liberation Day is very near Labor day so most people just take off work for vacation April twentyfifth through May first.
